A day at the beach.

Every Saturday morning, I took the crowded bus and rode it, standing up, for one hour.

The chaotic traffic in Lima and the reckless driving almost turned it into an Olympic feat.

When my stop finally came, I walked a pathway for 15 minutes until I reached the beach, and then headed back towards Lima, barefoot, for 15 kilometers through the beautiful and peaceful coast.

The sound of the waves was the soundtrack.

The water constantly rinsed my legs, my feet, and my soul.

These were special encounters. With myself.

They were moments for deep reflection and connection with nature, a spiritual oasis far away from the bustling chaos of the city.

I will remember and cherish these beautiful moments forever in my heart.

I recently wrote a piano piece, “Meu Pôr Do Sol” which is inspired by these experiences and is framed in a soft and sweet Brazilian rhythm which was the sort of music I used to listen to the most back then.

You can listen to the full piece (it´s very short) by clicking right here.

I hope you enjoy it, and that it transports you to some beautiful paradise within yourself.

Have a great day!

Claudio.
