Time to struggle again, for ME not for YOU...

Exactly around this time of the year, it starts getting really tough for me.

I struggle greatly. In my study room.

I live on the last floor of my apartment building and have no air-conditioning in the room I spend most of my day in. And living in Madrid, where temperatures rise above 40 degrees Celsius (no idea how much that is in Fahrenheit… but way too much), this is a serious problem.

My room probably goes well above 50 degrees. Almost officially a sauna.

But I can’t put air-conditioning there because of some strange specifications of the building. It’s not permitted…

It was during a hot summer that I composed my “Summertime Variations”. They earned me a Grammy nomination. Productivity heat…

Frequent temperature changes wouldn’t suit well to my instruments anyways. So I’ll have to keep on practicing and composing in the heat.

You can listen to my summertime variations by clicking on this text. Yes, Here.

And if you’re a virtuoso pianist who likes a challenge, you can buy the sheet music by clicking HERE.

If you take the challenge of playing them successfully in a 50 degrees chamber, let me know and I’ll reimburse you the full amount. You’ll have to show proof though, I won’t just take your word for it…

Have a great day.

Claudio.
