The Music You Never Hear

There’s a part of the creative process that no one sees.

Before a piece is finished, before it’s polished, before it even becomes something complete, it exists in a state of uncertainty—a melody half-formed, an idea that may or may not survive.

Most of these moments disappear. Some get revisited. A few turn into something lasting.

As an artist, I live in this in-between space constantly. Sometimes, a simple motif lingers in my mind for weeks without finding a home. Other times, a full composition arrives all at once, fully formed, as if it had always existed.

But more often than not, the music that comes first—the sketches, the drafts, the abandoned paths—is never heard by anyone but me.

And yet, there’s something special about that raw stage. About the moments when music is still fragile, still searching for its voice.

Lately, I’ve been thinking that some of these unfinished ideas deserve to be shared.

So, I’ve started opening up that part of my process on Instagram, sharing early sketches, lost pieces, and personal reflections on creativity through my subscriber-only space. If you’re curious to hear what happens before a piece is complete—or if you simply want to follow along more closely—you’ll find it all there.

You can follow me on Instagram (@constantini_music), and if this sounds like something for you, you’ll find the subscription option on my profile.

More music soon. Have a nice day,

Claudio.

P.D. Today I´ll post a preview of my new composition, which won´t be out elsewhere until Friday.
