The art of choosing
Sometimes, I think of all the lives I probably won’t live.
A hike through Yellowstone park,
the silence of the Siberian steppes,
a plate of fugu in Tokyo,
or surfing at sunrise somewhere warm.
There’s just so much I have to give up on. Time is finite, and the world, infinite.
It’s cruel, in a way. We carry so many curiosities, so much potential, yet we only get to live one version of ourselves. A tiny fraction of all we could be.
But maybe that's what makes the path we do choose so meaningful.
The act of choosing, of letting go, of walking forward with purpose—maybe that’s the art form.
What you choose to do is just as important as what you choose not to do.
Like composing: not writing every possible note, just the right ones.
This is my latest release: Dandelions. Listen to it here.
Have a great day,
Claudio.
