Sometimes, you loose.

Next week I have three concerts on my agenda. Only, that I will play just two of them.

Not because of my fault, but because of the organizer from the venue in Berlin (I won´t say names).

He made a double booking.

That is, he booked two artists on the same date, and he has canceled my performance since he has a preference for the other performer (who is his close acquaintance).

Not only has he not offered a viable solution, but also he hasn´t offered any compensation whatsoever. And now he just ignores my e-mails.

In the music business (and any business) there are always imb€cil€s like this one. And every now and then I have to deal with people who don´t appear to have respect towards artists. It would be very easy for me to spread this news through my socials where I´m very well-known, so he risks a lot by his actions.

However, I won´t be the one spreading bad words about other people through social media.

To me, the greatest loss is not being able to perform that concert.

But well, there will be other ones for sure.

What I can say is that on Thursday 19th I will play in Amsterdam (you can buy tickets by clicking here). The concert on the 20th is in Germany but it is sold-out so I won´t mention it any further. Hopefully, I´ll be back in Germany soon again (for the moment nothing until March 2025…)
