The Season changed.

Back when I lived in Perú (where I was born and raised till I was 18), I didn´t really know much about the 4 seasons. In Lima, my hometown, it´s either cool in winter or hot in summer, and not much else.

I got to experience the fullness of the seasons for the first time at 18 when I moved to Finland.

It was amazing.

Each season was distinct from the other.

I remember being outside in summer and how unfathomable it was to think that this same place would be up to my waist in snow 6 months from then.

I remember winters thinking how unthinkable it was that green grass would grow again out of the impenetrable shield of snow and ice.

That being said, I´m going to share with you a piece by the great Astor Piazzolla, one of my greatest musical inspirations. This piece is called Primavera Porteña, and it represents the season that the Southern hemisphere of the world is now enjoying: Spring.

That arrangement is included in my album AMERICA, of which I still have a few copies left. If you´re interested in getting one, reply to this e-mail telling me so.

If I get enough replies, I´ll open up a sale so you can get a hand-signed copy directly from me.

Have a great day!

Claudio.

P.D. The album contains music by Gershwin, Piazzolla, and myself :)

P.D.D. The 3 remaining seasons are there as well…
