By the sea

This time it´s been real holidays.

The last time we went on an actual holiday was years ago.

By real holiday I mean disconnecting.

I didn´t think it was possible, since my wife and I (she´s also a musician) are always busy working on our projects, thinking, studying, learning, and implementing all the acquired knowledge.

Even when I take a break, my mind is very actively thinking of more effective ways to play or compose music.

Now it´s been different. Just the three of us, my daughter my wife, and I, soaking the sunlight of Mallorca on a beautiful country home for two weeks, a few minutes away from some of the most idyllic beaches on earth.

Makes me wonder if I´m such a city boy after all… given the chance, I might just live in a place like this forever.

I wonder how my music would be if I lived here.

Probably more chill. Perhaps a bit more romantic. Cinematic.

Although I didn´t write it here, Luminoso is a piece that feels quite appropriate for a place like this. And I wrote/released it very recently.
