not perfect
I´ve learned to work as a perfectionist ever since I was very young.
Only recently have I learned to keep on working as a perfectionist without expecting a perfect result.
I also learned that things take their time. But there´s a nuance: that time might be quicker than what I expected.
Before, I thought that for something to be good, it would need lots of time and preparation. So the news for me is that it isn´t always the case.
Some things just seem to flow quicker than others.
It´s only been a few weeks since I finished composing the music for my latest album. It was published only two days ago.
So in little over a month, I had finished writing the music and was busy learning it to be able to record it quickly. I like to get things done.
The recording process took one full week.
I´m very fond of the result, it´s the type of music I´d like to hear and I guess that if I like it, someone else will too.
I don´t think it´s perfect, but then again, nothing really is.
And I´ve learned to have fun while seeking unattainable perfection.
Today, I´m sharing with you not the album, but a video of the first six etudes which are included in the album. These are very difficult to play, believe me.
You can watch them by clicking here.
Enjoy, and have a great day.
Claudio.
