My wishes for you

Christmas is magical.

Even though it was always summer and hot in my home city, I had the great fortune of living many magical Christmases as a child.

This was in great part due to my grandfather. I don´t know if he was especially excited about Christmas itself, or if he just wanted to make it special for me and my siblings.

We´d always spend Christmas in his house, and it was always decorated with an astonishing amount of Christmasy details and a big, beautiful Christmas tree with a mechanical toy train at its base that I loved to watch go around an infinite amount of times.

He´d always hand the presents to us and make us all laugh inventing crazy names for us while he was reading the gift tags to see who they were for.

We´d had to wait till 12:00 midnight to get them though, and we had a huge dinner with the most delicious turkey you could ever imagine.

These were my Christmases, merry and happy, no worries, beautiful.

There´s people from around the world subscribed to this newsletter. I know that many of you don´t celebrate Christmas.

So my wish for all of you today, is that you spend this day and every day surrounded by people who want to make your world a better place. Who care about you. Who give you energy and inspiration. Who make you feel loved and safe. We all need that.

And in turn, you can also be that person for them.
