My favorite place

“Eventually life just becomes a delicate balance between trying to stay awake and trying to fall asleep while getting markedly worse at both.”

I came across this quote yesterday. It immediately made me laugh.

It´s so relatable on so many levels, and I feel like there’s something painfully accurate in it.

We spend our days overstimulated, our nights unrested.

Focus is rare.

Silence, even rarer.

But music exists outside of that loop.
It doesn’t push or pull. It doesn’t ask for anything.

It gives you a place to land—without needing to arrive.

Not fully awake, not fully asleep. Just present.

This is my favorite place to be.
