More than just notes

Sometimes, I think music isn’t about notes at all. Or even sound.

I know it sounds strange, let me explain.

If you’re anything like me, you often experience feelings triggered by the smallest things: a sight, a smell, a voice.

Suddenly, you’re transported to places you can’t fully describe.

Those moments can carry profound joy, deep sorrow, or something that doesn’t fit anywhere in the usual human vocabulary.

Music carries such an infinite power that, at times, unfathomable as it is, I feel it detaches from what we think it is and becomes something else, like an entity of its own.

And in that process, it transforms you.

Eyesight softens, smells fade, the mind relaxes, and suddenly, you’re one with the universe. You’re right there, in the essence of it all.

I’m quite convinced that there are different ways to get there. In this search for the eternal, music is but a tool, a human tool which we’ve designed and perfected to accompany us at all times, from the mundane to the monumental to the transcendental.

This is what I had in mind today.

Have a nice day,

Claudio.
