It ́s been a few days...
…since I last posted on the newsletter.
The reason is simple: I´m overwhelmed with tasks. Too busy.
Ironically, what I enjoy the most about writing to you is that I momentarily disconnect from my daily tasks and concentrate on expressing my thoughts or feelings about a certain subject.
Sometimes I have figured out beforehand what I´m going to write about.
More often than not, I sit down, put my laptop on my legs, and my fingers start typing spontaneously, just like I´m doing now.
I often find that my thoughts crystallize when I write, much like when we speak, and our thoughts become more solid by putting them into words.
I´ve written over 100 posts in the past few months. We have grown to a community of thousands of subscribers who receive this newsletter. I´m very grateful for you being here and witnessing a part of me: my thoughts, something that is not evident in my performances.
Concert artists and performers have an abstract voice in their art, but not so much a literal voice.
Oftentimes, people have no idea about the person who sits at the piano and makes them feel things they can´t find words to describe. Or the composer who writes melodies so beautifully that bring tears to their eyes.
That´s why I started this newsletter. To share thoughts and connect with you who wish so on a deeper level.
So again: thank you for being here.
Now, a bit of news: Very soon I´m getting the physical CD´s of my album “An Imaginary Soundtrack” which I released on streaming platforms earlier this year. I´ve been asked for it so much that I decided to print it.
Some of you have already given me your e-mails to be on the waiting list. These people will be the first ones to be notified once the discs are available, so they´ll have a slight advantage.
If you want to be among them, you can still reply to this post simply giving me your e-mail address, and tell me you´d like to be included on this list.
Have a nice day!
Claudio.
