Getting through mid-week

We´re an impossibility in an impossible universe.

It´s so unlikely that we would even exist.

The odds are against life as we know it. The environments within our universe are as hostile as living hells.

Yet, earth exists. It has just the right elements for us to thrive.

And within this tiny microcosmos of existence, we deal with our ups and downs and continue trying to strive through life, in an effort to give meaning or have a reason for whatever it is that we have or we do.

Is art the purest form of expressing what we´re about?

I believe so.

Of course I do, I´m an artist.

Maybe if I was an economist I would be equally passionate about how the behavior of people shapes global markets and trends. That says much about who we are as a species.

These are just some of my mid-week thoughts.

Tomorrow I´m traveling to Amsterdam where I´ll be performing a solo program. You can buy tickets here, there are still a few left.

Afterwards, I´ll be leaving for different spots in Germany (all sold out I´m afraid) and the sunny south of Spain for a contrast.

Perhaps my thoughts will mature a bit during these trips.

Have a great day.

Claudio.

P.D. The opening sentence of this mail is not mine, it´s by Ray Bradbury ;)
