Done. Tell me what you think.
I had a friend… he passed away.
So many friends of mine passed away at too young of an age… harsh.
Anyways, I don’t mean to talk about sad things, on the contrary.
This friend was a heck of a concert pianist, and a musical authority in his country.
When the internet was still young, as was I, he tried developing several businesses around music with the aid of the world-wide web.
One of these was particularly interesting to me.
He had been assisting masterclasses from some of the leading pianists of the past century and videotaping them much before the internet even existed.
He ended up collecting literally hundreds (if not thousands) of these tapes. And since there was no YouTube back then (imagine a world without YouTube!), he had them all for himself.
So he had a brilliant idea: he created a website where for a fee you could have access to all the masterclass videos that he had digitalized and uploaded to this site.
And for an extra fee, you could ask for a piece of which you wanted a masterclass, and he would videotape himself offering a lesson on this piece.
I thought it was a brilliant way of spreading invaluable knowledge without the need of a teacher or student to be physically present.
This got me thinking.
I´m constantly approached by people who want lessons from me. And I’ve repeated several times through these years that I gave up teaching many years ago.
However, I have been giving sporadic masterclasses in various places around the world. And thoroughly enjoy it.
As a concert artist, I have accumulated invaluable knowledge and expertise on what it’s like to be on stage and how to tackle very specific problems that impede professionals, beginners, and amateurs to achieve the musical enjoyment they so much long for.
Not because I’m specially talented, gifted, or supernatural. Simply because I’ve been playing and have been immersed in music since I was born. That’s 40 years. And I make a living solely out of it.
I´m offering now the chance of a masterclass on whatever you’re struggling with musically. Be it a piece, a particular (or some particular) technical or musical problems, something concerning you, etc.
You have to apply for it. And we have to see if there´s a match. I only want to help so I won´t take any clients that I see unfit. And to clarify: that has nothing to do with if you´re a beginning amateur or a professional. Both are welcome.
Basically, if I see there’s something of extra value that I can do for you, you’ll be able to receive the lesson, no matter what level you´re in. So don’t be afraid to ask.
I won’t be doing this for long, since after all, I have quite a busy schedule running around for concerts and practicing myself.
So the chance is now. Click here to learn about what we can do together and how I can help change your approach so you can fully enjoy making music again.
Have a great day!
Claudio.
P.D. The methods I teach are the same ones that make me rise and remain at the TOP. And there´s nothing special about it or about me, YOU can do it too. You can rise to the top of your own game.
