Café Berlin but it´s in Madrid
In Spain, there’s a problem. A big one.
The problem is, there’s a huge lack of bandoneons.
And bandoneonists.
We´re probably less than 10 professionally active bandoneonists in the whole country. And I´m probably exaggerating with too high of a number.
Why?
Maybe too few people have realized they need it in their lives.
To make things a bit better, we’ve created a unique event in Madrid.
An eminent bandoneon player coming directly from the bandoneon capital: Buenos Aires, Argentina.
And a Peruvian who, strangely, can also play the bandoneon, go figure out why… Maybe you’ll know if you´re lucky enough to come to the event.
And maybe you’ll even figure out who is who.
It’s odd enough to see one bandoneon in Spain. But TWO… that’s almost unprecedented…
Here are my answers to frequent objections to coming to this event:
“I don´t know what a bandoneon is”. - Look it up on google, it’s 2023 for god´s sake.
“I really just like accordion”. - Similar enough. You’ll like this too.
“What I want in the evening is just to hang out with friends and have a drink”. - You can bring your friends, and there’ll be plenty of drinks available.
And as if all this weren’t enough, there’s no cellphone coverage at the venue, so you won’t be able to check your Whatsapp or TikTok, forcing yourself to fully live the experience.
Not a fit for you? Your loss.
Sounds good? We await you on Wednesday 21st of June at 20:00 in Café Berlín, Madrid. If you buy your tickets now they’ll be cheaper than later, and certainly cheaper than at the door… if you´re lucky enough that there will be any seats left so late.

If you don’t live in Madrid, or Spain, there’s direct flights from most points in Europe, and even some out of Europe. Madrid is one of the friendliest cities in Europe and you´ll find a trijillion hotels near the venue.
You can also recommend the event to your Spanish friend from back when you did your Erasmus and shared a room.
Or the Spanish cousins of your landlord.
Or maybe we´ll just see each other some other time… :)
Have a great day,
Claudio.
