After the Tour
Dear friends,
I just returned from a 10-day tour, and while it was filled with inspiring moments and the joy of performing, I must admit—this time, it left me utterly exhausted. Usually, I’m able to write while on the road; it’s something that keeps me grounded amidst the movement. But this tour was different. Between rehearsals, performances, travels, upcoming releases, commissions, and the seemingly endless coordination and paperwork for what lies ahead… there simply wasn’t room to pause.
Coming back, I need a couple of full days just to catch my breath. Touring is not just physically demanding—it’s also emotionally intense. Performing great masterworks isn't something you can do half-heartedly. These pieces demand not only technical precision, but emotional depth, sensitivity, and—above all—a sense of responsibility: to the music, and to the audience.
I often think people imagine a life on stage as all glamour and applause, but the truth is far more human, and far more beautiful than that. It's about giving everything you have, night after night, to something greater than yourself.
And sometimes, when you return from that world, the silence is just as necessary as the sound.
Thank you for listening—on stage and off.
More music is on the way very soon.
Have a nice day,
Claudio
