41

Yesterday I turned 41.

Do you want to know something funny?

The older I get, the more ignorant I feel.

Sometimes it seems as if I knew nothing at all, I grow unsure about things I was convinced of just recently, and I doubt whether I´m doing things well or not.

Another funny thing is, that I don´t care that much about it anymore.

Before, I was preoccupied with having answers and correct perspectives. I was obsessed with finding the right way to do things. I was impatient to arrive at perfection.

Now, I know things take their time. And that it´s never perfect.

But, as Kobe Bryant once said, it´s surely lots of fun trying to achieve an impossible perfection.

Therefore, I can say that I´ve become very patient in trying to achieve a level of perfection that I will never achieve, because it doesn´t exist.

Makes sense? Maybe not.

But it definitely works for me.

Now, some news: I´m releasing a physical version of an album of music by Bach, on the bandoneon. The Partitas nrs.2 &3 for solo violin and the Suite in G for cello, all fo them adapted by myself for my instrument.

They´re not available yet, but since the prints will be limited, I advise you to write me an email at [email protected] or simply reply to this e-mail saying that you´d like to be on the waiting list to acquire this CD.

I´ll personally write to each one of you who signed up for the waiting list once the album is printed (sometime in August), you´ll be among the very first to be notified.

Have a great day!

Claudio.
