1 Million...

One million is a big amount of anything. 1,000,000. Impressive, at least to most people.

Of course, we have approximately 30 trillion cells in our body and we take them for granted.

But that won´t put me off for what I´m about to share:

Three years ago, during lockdown, I spent more hours than usual in my studio (My Music Laboratory) and I composed lots of music. Really a lot. Not a million pieces perhaps, but more than usual.

I released two studio albums that included the music that I composed during that time. One of them is called Incandessence, I released it in 2022, one year ago.

Among the pieces included on that album, there is one that has become sort of a “hit” among my public, and it´s called Alone.

Well, yesterday I was notified that this piece has reached and exceeded the amount of 1 million streams.

That means that it has been listened to more than a million times. And that´s just on that platform, without taking into account the streams it has on itunes, deezer, youtube, etc.

To me, it´s impressive and most of all: encouraging.

It´s encouraging because, for some reason, a piece that I almost threw away (I didn´t think much of it when I composed it) has somehow connected with many people around the world.

It encourages me to keep on searching for that special thing in music that excites and moves people. I´m working hard on it for my next album, which will come out in 2024. Let´s see if I succeed in bringing that magic again.
